1. Bookings & Payments

• All bookings must be made in advance.

• Full payment or a deposit (as agreed) is required to secure a place.

• Course fees are non-transferable unless agreed in writing.

 

2. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations must be made in writing.

• Refunds may be issued if cancellation is within the agreed notice period.

• Late cancellations or non-attendance may result in loss of fees.

• Qualplus reserves the right to cancel or reschedule training; alternative dates or refunds will be offered.

 

3. Attendance & Participation

• Learners must attend all sessions and arrive on time.

• Active participation is required for successful completion.

• Failure to meet requirements may lead to removal from the course without refund.

 

4. Certification

• Certificates are issued only when all training and assessment requirements are successfully completed.

• Learners must provide accurate personal details for certification purposes.

 

5. Code of Conduct

• All participants must behave professionally and respectfully.

• Any misconduct, disruption, or failure to follow instructions may result in removal without refund.

 

6. Health, Safety & Medical Conditions

• It is the responsibility of the learner/client to inform Qualplus Training & Security of any medical condition, injury, disability, or learning need that may affect participation prior to the course or service.

• Where applicable, reasonable adjustments will be made; however, participation in certain activities may be restricted for safety reasons.

• Learners must ensure they are physically and mentally fit to undertake training.

• Qualplus reserves the right to refuse participation if a condition is deemed to pose a risk to the individual or others.

 

7. Liability

• Qualplus Training & Security will take all reasonable steps to ensure safety and high-quality service delivery.

• However, we shall not be held liable for:

  • Personal injury or illness where participants have failed to disclose relevant medical conditions.

  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

  • Indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in training or services.

• Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or injury caused by negligence, in accordance with UK law.

 

8. Insurance

• Qualplus Training & Security maintains appropriate public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

• Clients are responsible for ensuring their own coverage where required.

 

9. Data Protection & Confidentiality

• All personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR.

• Information is used solely for training, certification, and service delivery purposes.

• Personal information will not be shared without consent unless required by law.

 

10. Security Services Terms

• Security services are provided under agreed contracts and in line with industry regulations.

• Clients must provide accurate information regarding site risks and requirements.

• Qualplus is not liable for incidents arising from incomplete or inaccurate client information.

 

11. Complaints & Disputes

• Complaints must be submitted in writing.

• All complaints will be handled fairly and promptly.

• If unresolved, disputes may be escalated in line with UK legal frameworks.

 

12. Amendments

• Qualplus Training & Security reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

• Updated versions will be made available to clients and learners.

 

13. Photography & Media

Purpose of Photography

Images and recordings may be used for:

• Training and assessment documentation

• Marketing and promotional materials (website, social media, brochures)

• Internal quality monitoring

 

Consent

• All participants will be informed in advance if photography or filming will occur.

• Consent will be obtained before using any images for promotional purposes.

• Participants have the right to opt out of being photographed or recorded at any time.

 

Privacy & Data Protection

• All images and recordings are managed in line with UK GDPR and data protection laws.

• Personal information will not be shared without consent.

• Sensitive or confidential training activities will not be recorded without explicit permission.

 

Use of Images

• Images will be used professionally and respectfully to represent Qualplus Training & Security.

• They will not be used in any misleading, inappropriate, or harmful way.

 

Participant Responsibilities

• Learners must not take photos or record videos of training sessions, instructors, or other participants without permission.

• Any unauthorised recording may result in removal from the course.

 

Withdrawal of Consent

• Participants can withdraw consent at any time by informing Qualplus Training & Security in writing.

• Reasonable steps will be taken to stop future use of images where possible.
